Is there a real estate guru out there? if the assessed property value of a house is 150k and i purchase it for 80k, how much would my property tax be? How do I calculate the property tax?

I like to know if in any State of the U.S.A. there are any taxes that have to be paid on real estate property that is detoriated or more than a year for sale or to rent ?
I live in Belgium and I suppose this is the only country in the world where authorities are giving high fines under the mask of a tax to owners of properties that aren’t used for more than a year or that aren’t anymore nice enough for these authorities ! And with high fines I mean f.ex. 5.000$ the first year (which is doubled each following year !) for a small 5 meter broad 3-floor house. Can you imagine a bigger agression on the fundamental right of property by authorities ?

C.It is not affected by the investor’s actual tax rate.
D.It must be equal to the investor’s actual tax rate.

Wondering what the difference means. Is it possible to buy a property with enough of a positive cash flow to not use my wallet? or are those days over with? Have quite a bit of equity in my home and excellent credit, looking towards retirement portfolio. Considering replacing my income by landlording and looking for tips.

It seems like each tax jurisdiction has it’s own criteria, are remote properties taxed less? I would presume property tax’s are a main revenue for schools and public services so is there a relationship in between school quality and public services and property tax’s? I notice property tax’s on river properties seem about twice what it would be otherwise.

Can anyone think of a fantastic name for such a publication? Basically, it will be either a weekly or monthly publication. It will be feature advertisements from local real estate agents and I hope also mortgage brokers and the like, plus perhaps removalists etc. It will also contain articles related to the real estate industry and moving home etc, property features and agent profiles.
