Is it better to manage your own rental property yourself or use a property manager from a realestate agent, And if you do it yourself how much money would I save?

it would vary how much you would save. In my experience I would urge you to have a company to manage the property. They take away all of the hassle and will find replacements much quicker than you can yourself.

A management company, they can advise you on all the regulations and sort out the legal contracts etc… for you.

Let them deal with it for 6/12 months, you could then always take over the managment if you feel more confident.

If you are in the same city, and you have access to a real estate attorney who can draw up the lease, and you don’t mind following up collecting the rent each month, and you have a handyman available to fix things, then save the 10 to 15 percent.
