How do you become a professional property locator?

I was wondering if anyone had a job as a property locator could give me some information on it. Such as how you became one, if you need a degree. What school did you go, what background education is needed? Also what is the pay. How long does it take to become a property locator and is there a certain age you need to become? Any information on this would be very helpful. Thanks!

You must be looking for a job, and if so, keep looking. A professional house locator, for the most part is a scam. Basically you would look for below market houses for sale that would offer the best opportunities for investors to “flip” and you would either be paid a fee or receive part of the profit made. The problem is that most Realtors already do this for investors so the competition is fierce and practically impossible for someone who is not a Realtor to have access to these properties and be able to know the market to identify value. You don’t need a degree to be a locator, but then again you don’t need one to be a Realtor either, but you would need to go to real estate school and be licensed. I suggest you look into residential appraisals, it might be up your alley. Good luck.
