i know they have services where they jack up your home, and put supports and i believe concrete under it. i know it is costly but would anyone have any sort of range as to just how costly?
my property is lower than the road and every summer storm season (in florida) the property floods some, and comes very close to coming in my house. in the past before i owned it, it flooded significantly- unbeknownst to me when i purchased. my lot is lowest in the area, so all ground water sort of flows to me.
How to find a good property management company in Houston? What services do property managers offer?
I bought a house ( closure is in process) I need to rent it out and I am looking for a good property management company in Houston.
What do these guys do ? Where do I find them?
I am working overseas and I cannot personally visit the property every other month. What should I do?
For example, the government overturned the common law precedent that polluters could be sued by the owners of property which they destroyed. The government also declares that forests are “public property,” which leads to extinctions because nobody owns the forest and the animals within and therefore nobody values the animals and trees within the forest enough to take proper care of them (if somebody owns a forest, they aren’t going to permit all the animals to be killed and the forest to be chopped down because that will cause them long-term economic loss).
Why does the government engage in these ridiculous policies that violate property rights in order to subsidize pollution? Why do the Greens call for more government intervention when government interventions themselves are doing massive harm to the environment? Shouldn’t the government just respect property rights and therefore permit property owners to keep pollution off of their property or to conserve land?
I am interested in the property tax system of Canada.
Are the taxable items of a fixed property tax only land and a house?
Or is depreciable property also contained?
If it differs for every state, isn’t there any table?
Canadian Blondie, I can get an answer from you and feel glad. However, I may have given misunderstanding by my fault that verbalization was bad. I know that property tax is imposed on land and a building, but want to know it whether property tax is imposed on a depreciable asset (a ship or machinery). I think that there are “a state taxing a depreciable asset” and “the state which do not tax a depreciable asset”. If there is the web page that I should refer to, will you show me it?
Or do I have to go to the realty firm where the property is listed? I assume that if I want to view the property than I need to contact the realtor for viewing? Thanks for answering!
If I have to go through the real estate broker to view/bid on the property, do I have to pay them commission?
I am considering buying property in county of Los Angeles. How do I get info on right away or easement for fire department/police, etc? There is a least one drive way going through property with a gate and paddlelock.
Dear Real Realtor, We need to know if there are already easements on the property that we wish to buy. The owner and realtor have not been forth coming. Thank you all for your help.
I’m interested in your local area, your state, or if you have it, national information.
Thanks, but no thanks, in advance to all who have an opinion on the wisdom of taxing property, or on the quality of public schools.
Yes, thanks, I know the rate varies by location. As I stated, I’m looking for information about your rate, or the average for your state, or for the whole US. That presupposes that it varies by locality, you see. Or don’t.
