It seems like each tax jurisdiction has it’s own criteria, are remote properties taxed less? I would presume property tax’s are a main revenue for schools and public services so is there a relationship in between school quality and public services and property tax’s? I notice property tax’s on river properties seem about twice what it would be otherwise.
I’m considering launching a real estate or property guide in my local area and have a few ideas for the title, but am not sold on any of them in particular.
Can anyone think of a fantastic name for such a publication? Basically, it will be either a weekly or monthly publication. It will be feature advertisements from local real estate agents and I hope also mortgage brokers and the like, plus perhaps removalists etc. It will also contain articles related to the real estate industry and moving home etc, property features and agent profiles.

So the government plans on collecting the same or more tax money? They are not lowering real estate property appraisal values.
Here’s the details – - real estate agent buys a residence. He/she pays for repairs and improves the property. Then he/she sells it for a gain/profit.
Tax implications? Isn’t there a rule out there regarding an real estate professional conducting a “business” in which he/she flips houses. Hope my details are not confusing.
If I am able to produce a 20% down payment on a ~$150k-200k property every year or two, will I be able to keep purchasing homes and renting them out as investment properties? Are there limits of any kind on the amount of loans banks will provide, assuming the profits are invested back into the business and mortgage payments are always paid on time? Or are there other investments that would have better payoffs.
We just bought a house in Oct. 05 and just now found out that part of my garage is on another homeowners property. The builder we bought it from built this garage and had it surveyed. What legal rights do I have in persuing the builder/surveyor? Do I have any rights in suing them? I’m totally lost–get a lawyer to help??
